MedSoc is a term used by many universities to refer to topics of "Medicine and Society." These so called "MedSoc" programs teach students about the social aspects of medicine. For example, how historical, socioeconomic, and cultural factors influence medicine and healthcare.

MedSoc is also a term used by UK universities to refer to unions of students interested in the medical field.
