    Who Inspires You?

    in Women in Medicine

    Author: Sara Habibipour

Surely Elizabeth Blackwell is an inspiration!

Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman to earn a medical degree in the United States. With a sister and another friend, she opened up the New York Infirmary for Women and Children which cared for the underserved, while helping pave the way for women in medicine. What an amazing woman and doctor! Thank you Dr. Blackwell!

Now we're among the next generation wanting to continue breaking barriers to enter into the medical field! We are strong women, I applaud all of us 🥺🙌
